PRESS RELEASE 02.08.2023

Mickey Maymann is the new CEO of Edda Group Denmark

Today we have the pleasure of welcoming Mickey Maymann, who starts as the new CEO of Edda Group Denmark. He takes over from Thomas Gleerup, who will focus on his role as Group CEO.

“I look forward to carrying on the legacy from Thomas and pursuing our vision of becoming the leading provider of flexible work in the Nordics with the rest of the team at Edda Group Denmark. There’s a passion and high commitment that run through the entire organisation. I look forward to being a part of that.”

Mickey is a familiar face in the industry. He comes from a position as Managing Director and Partner in Nordic Interim. Before that, he was 17 years with The Adecco Group. The last seven years as CEO.

“We tend to neglect how big a difference we make for many people. As a temp agency, we are not just a provider of labour. We are their employer, and we help them every day to the next step, the next job, the next opportunity. It’s one of the reasons I’ve stayed in the industry for so long.”

Since January, Thomas Gleerup has held the role of Group CEO in Edda Group and CEO in Edda Group Denmark. According to him, Mickey is the right person to take over the Danish part of the organisation.

“I have known Mickey for many years and am completely comfortable entrusting the Danish business to him and all the talented employees who make up Edda Group Denmark.”

Privately, Mickey lives in Ringe on Funen with his wife and three daughters, respectively. 11, 15 and 18 years.

Welcome to Mickey.
